Headless commerce
Headless commerce separates the front of your web store (what the customer sees) from the back (catalogue, cart, checkout), so you can design the front freely and the same back serves multiple channels.
In a classic web store design and logic are glued together: want something different at the front and you fight the platform. Headless turns that around. The commerce layer delivers data through an API, and the website, an app, a dealer portal or a marketplace all use the same source.
For a company it means faster pages, a front that fits your brand exactly and a back connected to your ERP and stock. No throwaway web store that has to be rebuilt with the next brand refresh.
